Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your StrideYear account and all associated data directly inside the app. No email or web form required.
How to delete your account
- Open the StrideYear app on your device.
- Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the prompt.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Deletion immediately and irreversibly removes your account and all data from our servers.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials
- Your display name and profile avatar
- All runs synced to StrideYear (manual entries and health-data imports)
- Your yearly goals and progress
- Friendships and challenge memberships
- Trophies and achievement history
What is not deleted
- Run data stored in Apple Health or Android Health Connect — those are managed by your device's health app and are not affected.
- Strava activity data — deletion from StrideYear does not remove anything from your Strava account.

If you are unable to access the app and need your account deleted, email us at support@strideyear.com from the address associated with your account. We will process the request within 30 days.
